Visited Bangkok for the first time in my life and I must say that it was absolutely spectacular. I like how we managed to get close to the locals in a non-touristy manner. I guess living away from the popular attractions granted us this advantage. We fell in love with the quiet alley provision stores and the neighborhood cat (whom we endearingly called "Charlie") This little fur ball was seen lazing around the place we lived at throughout the week we were there and we could not resist buying her a warm meal. As aloof as some alley cats might be, she simply turned her heel and strolled away after satisfying her hunger. Maybe that is what draws me to cats. How completely cool they are. Till we meet again, Charlie.
