ANTI-ESTABLISH GIVEAWAY

Maxi dress: Anti Establish | Heels: Hauteurbanstyle

In celebration of the new year, Anti Establish has decided to hold a giveaway on my blog to show their love! This red maxi dress features a sexy bareback, perfect for festive gatherings where you wanna dress to impress! Don't worry about being too provocative, the conservative neckline balances that out seamlessly. Add a belt to transform it into a midi dress like I did, or leave it as it is if you are taller. Both lengths look super rad! This maxi dress comes with a stretchable waistline and fits all. Simply leave your name + email address in the comment box, along with the reasons why you love Chinese New Year (it can be about the food/festive goodies/visiting that cute cousin of yours/steamboat/dressing up/whatever) Be super funny/creative and I will pick my favorite comment. Giveaway closes on 5th Feb 23:59 and the winner will be notified via email. Good luck girls!

I love CNY cause it's one of the rare times that all my relatives & I would gather together and chill out to see how's everyone doing :)

I love Chinese New Year because I can get red packets from my relatives, then I can shop for more clothes! hahaha I also feel very blissful when I get to meet up with my family and relatives, we only have time to gather during festival. I can be very childish to play firecrackers with my cousins (we used to play it since we were in kindergarten). Yeah, so this sum up how much I like CNY!

I love Chinese New Year because its just everything wonderful rolled into a celebration for the new year. :) I love being able to spend it with my family, and also visiting my friends' homes where we can snack on each other's goodies and have multiple rounds of Big 2, using food to gamble since we don't fancy the pinch of losing money :P Good food is a major plus factor all the time and since it is a special occasion, i get to savour my grandpa's black pepper crab which is so yummy i can't even decipher the magic he put into cooking it. *drools* I love that we can use this occasion to buy new clothes despite bulging wardobes, and my mom won't be able to say NO :P
I love going to Chinatown to snap pictures of the new year decorations like the snake structure made out of lanterns which span the entire road. Just soaking in all the atmosphere and walking around can make me very happy in an instant. Also i love going around to various bakeries and sampling the cookies without buying them hehehe. :B

The reason why I love Chinese new year is not only because of the food ,snacks etc. it is because I get to see all my relatives and friends within these three days and we get to have loads of fun chitchatting and gossiping. Not only that, Chinese new year seems to be a fashion showcase period for everyone especially the girls! Haha as such I will always dress nicely for this big day! Haha how can I forget my favourite part of the event--- Bingo event. All my relatives will gather together and play bingo game! It is so fun and the winner always get to win loads of money back home. But I am always so unlucky and didn't get to win. This game totally make me and my relatives feel like a big family, make us feel so bonded! I love CNY^^

The reason I like CNY due to the rare family gathering I have once every year. To be able to eat food cooked by my grandma and all her children/ grandchildren crowd around dining table waiting for delicious meal. I cherish good bonding times like this with my family and distant relatives a lot. Everyone is good-looking and putting off their look with a smile. :)

Hey Audrey,

The thing I love about CNY, to be really honest is the FOOD. Haha, I mean how can you resist all the good food placed right in front of you? The thing is, I ALWAYS tell myself not to eat so much or refrain from eating all the goodies cause I get fat easily, but the plan ALWAYS FAILS :p Hahaha, I end up procrastinating and *rolling* on my room floor after I come back from house visiting. Oh well, it's a vicious cycle.

Chinese New Year has been my favourite festival and I love everything about it especially house visiting! Its all red, red, red and RED everywhere. It's such a joyous occasion! What's a Chinese New Year without buying new clothes and flaunt it, dolling up yourself to nearly perfection for house visiting and getting lots of compliments? :)

It's so funny that we go house visiting and greet 'Gong Xi Fa Cai' where we 'Gong Xi' the elders and we 'Fa Cai' by receiving red packets. Hahaha. My grandfather used to said and laughed that he didn't 'Fa Cai' at all..

Wishing you here a Happy Chinese New Year to you and your family in 2013! :) let me be the lucky one to win this red maxi dress to wear for the first day of Chinese New Year!

Hi Audrey,

This is Joey. I really love that red dress. It does bring up the atmosphere in this festive season. (:

I love cny. a lot. I love food, especially cny goodies. Every year without fail my granny will bake love letters, pineapple tarts, spring rolls and many more. You may not know that my granny is already reaching 80 and still she can managed to bake all these just in time for cny. I really love her too. hehe.

Secondly, meetups. Some of the distant relative which i oonly get to see them once a year makes cny really special. Everybody will make time to come down for house visiting. It is definitely heart warming :') In additional, I am promoted to be an aunt this year! (: Im really excited to see both my niece this coming new year. What a joy. (:

Thirdly, new clothes!!! this is an absolutely joy for us girls. Who doesnt love new clothes plus girls will never have enough clothes. oh, shoes too ^^

Last but not least, ang paos. hehe. Hope there's plenty of ang paos to collect this year.

Happy advance chinese new year, audrey!

xoxo,
Joey

Chinese New Year is a time of celebration, a time where families get together and a time of joy and love. And it means the world to m because it's the one time that all my relatives get to come together as one to spend time together and bond. This is the time of the year that everyone takes time out of their own schedules to gather together as my grandma's place and the whole place will be filled with so much joy and laughter that it is such a heart-warming sight. As much as we would like to spend more time together, everyone is just so busy with their lives that we do not get to do this very often, just this one rare season of celebration every year. Every year, I look forward to this holiday because it stands for such an important season for my family. Chinese New Year means a lot to me because I get to see my dearest nephews and nieces and spend time playing with them (I love kids with all of my heart) and I get to catch up with my cousins and reminiscence our childhood days together.

No amount of red packets or delicious chinese new year goodies can make up for this precious time spent with family.

And when I see my extended family this year, I would love to present myself in my best form and would love to wear this amazing dress to do so :)

Wishing you all the best and an amazing time of celebration with your loved ones :) God Bless!

Hello Aud! I guess everyone loves CNY because they get to eat up all the yummy food and sweet treats from the platter! I call that platter of happiness because anyone who eats it, feels happy ^^

But, I love cny not because I also get to eat up all the yummy goodies, but people get to eat my food too! I always bake every year and give out to my family, friends and my 2 neighbours. Seeing everybody eating happy makes me happy, especially when I cook it. Thank you Aud, have a nice cny week ahead!

I love chinese new year as it is a time for me to go shopping without thinking of the consequences like letting go of the hard earn money I accumulated after 6 months. It is also the time where I get to meet up with friends and familiesand just quietly observe how much has changed in everybody's lives first, before catching up with them. The Chinese new year is a time for me to think back and reflect on the past year and make necessary changes in my life to become a better person that shows Him through me. It's also a great evangelistic outreach to my loved ones that are unsaved. That's why with so many events going on, I look forward to the many things I wish to accomplish.
