Brighton Beach, Victoria, Australia.
I stand in awe
as an abundance of magnificant rough waves
tumble and crash
clumsily
into each other.
The harmonious combination of elements
bring forth an orchestra of smooth calming music
gushing into my ears.
I stand in awe at God's creation,
the vast mass of water that people are often
afraid of.
People, like us.
Colliding waves,
drawing back gently and
meeting with wrath once again.
The cold sea breeze
lead our hands together to
fit snugly like a glove,
every slight crease gel and magnetize upon touch.
Shifty freezing feet
find themselves interlocking
just like puzzle pieces that
finally found each other.
This is an extension of who we are.
Like waves,
we crash into each other and draw back,
with instinctive fear.
