Advertorial
Heres a little, okay no its actually quite extensive, pictorial diary of what went down in the land of dim sum,
busy swift feet, hot afternoons and brightly-lit streets. All visuals are taken using my Samsung S5 phone.
"Sometimes I think I see you in the street. But its never you."
Caught The Book Thief on the way to Hongkong and was super fixated on my screen throughout the flight.
My heart stopped the moment when Liesel (the main lead) was browsing the books in the mayor's residence.
I believe that only readers and writers would feel the same way I did.
To feel your skin tingle in delight that someone feels the same way about books, just like you too.
A connection so divine, so sacred. Thankful that I managed to catch this film on flight!

We checked into Marco Polo Hotel courtesy of Harbourcity and were entranced by this view of high rise buildings.
Our walk-in wardrobe at Marco Polo Hongkong.
I shared a room with one of our managers, Audrey Lange and Rachel. Lucky them because I literally brought a whole wardrobe of clothes there, just in case.. you know.. haha I think I brought enough clothes for 2 weeks or something.

The kind people at Harbour City made our trip extremely comfortable and enjoyable with a whole line-up of events that we managed to attend throughout the trip. We were treated to a huge array of food, gourmet pastries, skincare, beauty treats, dim sum and not forgetting visiting The Peak and Madame Tussauds wax museum - which was a total eye opener for most of us!
Visiting the Style Nanda flagship store in Hongkong!
Popped by Lane Crawford to do my makeup courtesy of Dior. Thanks for the gifts!
Sleepyheads. zzzzzz
Woke up early for brunch at Hotel Panorama's AVA restaurant.
Brought My Daily Dose to take care of my skin throughout the trip!
So happened that Rach, Nicole, Szes and I were dressed in black and just had to snap a picture in the MTR
(train station) like typical tourists. Kinda slightly overdressed for public transport but who cares eh.
TAP DOGS is now approaching 20 years of global success, having performed in 330 cities in more than 37 countries around the world. I guess their total reach of 12 million people speaks for itself.
The show is a combination of high-energy dance, theatrical performance and live music, TAP DOGS is seriously a show not to be missed. 80 minutes of adrenaline rush, water splashing and more! TAP DOGS grooved to their own beat as the team worked together to bring the steel-works construction site alive! Watch the video here!
We were kept fully entertained throughout the show, and was super pumped up even after. Rachel and Nicole started tap-dancing backstage when we had an exclusive pass to meet the crew behind this incredible show lol
