Standing in awe of the country a great man fought for. As beautiful as our city may be, our nation is more than the city. Singapore is more than the sum of its people. The beauty that we see, of people volunteering their time, water, and food to complete strangers, amazes us. Our gracious people are as much a legacy of his as are the buildings around us.
